I heard red and green decorations have been spotted on Broadway a week ago, and with last week's inklings that John Galliano's working on Claridge's Christmas tree, it's officially time for holiday news. Today, Vogue UK reports that Luella Bartley's taking over Liberty of London. She's designed and directed the window decorations and will open her personal Christmas grotto with a cider and candy cane-filled party tonight featuring what we'll bet is this year's first appearance by Father Christmas. The in-store shop will feature "kitsch gifts and trinkets," as well as some Luella.

We heard the Krupp Group, needs a new crop of interns. Many of their alums have gone on to work for Philip Crangi, Lela Rose, Rachel Comey and Joy Gryson. Project Run-away

 
I have to admit I'm a Project Runway fan but.....

Did you see last night's epidsode...the "final" challenge? First they bring in Cynthia Rowley and Cindy Crawford as guest judges...not so bad, right?  Both are seriously accomplished but in my opinion....to have them decide which designers will go on to Fashion Week based on one challenge is preposterous. Where's Mr. Kors? Heck where's Constance from ebay? This is life-changing for the contestants and for the fashion world. They should have judges who are committed to being there all the time that can see and judge the progress (or lack of) of their work.

Second, why bring this show to LA in the first place? And did we really need the mayor of LA to try to convince us that it's "leading in fashion" ?  No offense left coasters but c'mon.
