Saurette is a contemporary children's brand styling girls from 2-12 years. Currently we have an opening for a PT Freelance Technical Designer.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead FIT sessions, resolving any fit issues and demonstrating to the design team that the corrections being applied will result in the desired look.
• Develop and manage tech packs to be sent to the factories
• Review grading, ensuring proportions are consistent throughout the size range, making adjustments.
• Communicating with factories and suppliers on all technical issues, providing technical expertise on how to correct or achieve a desired look and giving detailed feedback on samples.
• Review Patterns and correct as needed.
• Work closely with the design team, understand the vision and provide technical expertise, by foreseeing problems and offering alternatives to the design team without compromising the look.
Skills: Strong patternmaking and apparel construction knowledge required. Childrenswear experience is required. Need creative solutions that drive financial results. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Illustrator, and Excel. Ability to think creatively, focus on details, and possess a strong commitment to quality of work.

- Cultivate relationships with advertisers and agencies and leverage existing contacts to develop new advertising partnerships for The Zoe Report.
- Create advertising proposals, partnership programs and negotiate terms.
- Develop a detailed sales plan to achieve revenue goals, including plans for supporting team, once necessary.

- Knowledge of email marketing and RFP process preferred

The Product Development Coordinator – Accessories – Company Stores supports the VP – Product Development & Administration with the organization of seasonal information and acts as a liaison between the design studio, factories and the Retail and Merchandising Teams.
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: VP - Product Development and Administration
Other relationships: Design Director – Shoes and Accessories Design, Design Staff, Men’s and Women’s Retail and Merchandising Teams and Factories
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the liaison between the design studio and factories including daily communication via e-mail and faxes.
• Manage product development of categories from concept through costing including: the timely delivery of concept, technical packages, corrections, prototypes through pre-production, landing costs and target prices.
• Maintain and oversee calendar timing.
• Communicate product development information to cross functional teams including merchandising, retail buyers etc.
• Maintain seasonal product development information.
• Administrative, organizational and clerical tasks.
CRITERIA/PROFILE
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2- 3 year prior accessories work experience is required.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Highly motivated and flexible to deadline demands and seasonal schedule changes.
• Ability to establish good relationships with key parties and department staff.

Normal day-to-day responsibilities include managing the closet, handling incoming and outgoing samples, assisting editors on projects ranging from storyboards to store pulls, and general office support for the entire department.
